Global K-pop leaders stray kids has once again proven their massive popularity in Latin America, with the first date of their STRAYCITY festival in Mexico selling out in under two hours on Friday.
The general ticket sale for the September 25, 2026 show at Estadio GNP Seguros began at 2:00 PM local time. According to multiple reports and fan monitoring accounts, over 120,000 STAYs entered the virtual queue on Ticketmaster, causing significant site traffic and long waiting times. Despite the chaos, the first date officially reached sold out status by late afternoon.
In response to overwhelming demand, organizers OCESA and Live Nation quickly announced a second date for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the same venue. Tickets for the new date went on sale immediately.

Strong Sales Momentum
Preliminary data shows that together, both dates have already sold over 109,000 tickets (nearly 95% of combined capacity) within hours of the initial onsale. The second date continues to sell rapidly, with only around 6,000 tickets remaining as of Saturday morning.
This marks the fourth time Stray Kids has sold out Estadio GNP Seguros (previously known as Foro Sol), following their record-breaking two-night stand during the dominATE World Tour in 2025, which drew over 115,000 fans across two dates.
Regional Sell-Out Wave
This mirrors the explosive success in Argentina, where Stray Kids sold out their initial STRAYCITY date at Hipódromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires in just three hours, moving over 60,000 tickets. Due to overwhelming demand, organizers added a second date on September 15, 2026. The original September 14 show is now completely sold out.
The fast sell-outs in both Mexico and Argentina highlight the fierce demand for the group across Latin America, following strong presale results in Colombia as well.
Festival-Style Lineup
STRAYCITY Mexico will feature special guest performances by:
- NEXZ
- Mexican artists Andrés Obregón and RENEE
The event is part of Stray Kids’ larger STRAYCITY Latin America series, which also includes stops in Bogotá (September 9) and Buenos Aires (September 14).
