Global Pop sensation Stray Kids have once again proven their unstoppable popularity in Latin America. Their newly announced STRAYCITY festival-style concerts are already becoming one of the hottest live music events of 2026, with fans rushing to secure tickets at record-breaking speed.
The group first unveiled the STRAYCITY series on May 22, introducing a completely new concert experience that blends high-energy performances, immersive festival production, and appearances from both local and international artists. General ticket sales for Buenos Aires and Bogotá officially opened on May 27 at 10:00 AM local time — and the response was explosive.
Lightning-Fast Sell-Out in Buenos Aires
Tickets for Stray Kids’ STRAYCITY show at Hipódromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires on September 14 sold out in approximately just 3 hours, with over 60,000 tickets completely gone in record time. Even more impressive, this happened with less than a week of promotion after the initial announcement.
Fans flooded social media in disbelief as queues stretched for hours and tickets disappeared almost instantly. Many STAYs described the demand as “absolute madness,”.
As Argentina is considered one of the biggest home bases for STAYs in Latin America, many fans were disappointed when the country was left out of the dominATE tour. However, it seems Stray Kids definitely had Argentina in mind. The group has now created their own festival-style event, STRAYCITY, which will take place at the same venue that hosts Lollapalooza Argentina.
What makes this achievement even crazier is that Stray Kids have not released a new album yet in 2026. Despite no comeback this year so far, the group continues to sell out massive venues purely through the incredible connection they have built with fans worldwide.
The loyalty and passion of STAYs across Latin America has become impossible to ignore.
Strong Demand Across Latin America
In Bogotá, Colombia, the presale for the September 9 show at Vive Claro Distrito Cultural reportedly sold out around 15,000 tickets in just two hours, with general sales continuing strongly afterward.
Meanwhile, anticipation for Mexico City is already reaching extreme levels ahead of general sales opening on May 29 for the September 25 show at Estadio GNP Seguros. Many fans are already expecting another instant sell-out situation.
Across social media, STAYs from countries like Peru and Chile are now desperately hoping additional dates will be announced.
The massive response to STRAYCITY follows the incredible success of Stray Kids’ 2025 dominATE World Tour, which drew over 360,000 fans across eight completely sold-out Latin American shows. This time, the group is offering something entirely new.
The STRAYCITY format transforms the concerts into full festival experiences, with Stray Kids serving as headliners alongside fellow JYP Entertainment group NEXZ and various local artists in each country.
JYP Entertainment explained the vision behind the event, stating:
“STRAYCITY aims to be a music festival that everyone can enjoy; it seeks to serve as a platform where everyone can awaken their hidden alter ego and discover a new version of themselves. Through this festival, Stray Kids will unleash their unparalleled energy and share their unique musical universe with the public.”
