K-pop girl group aespa is once again proving their global power as their latest comeback album LEMONADE climbs to the top of major charts both in South Korea and worldwide.
Released on May 29 at 1 PM (KST), aespa’s second full-length album quickly surged to No. 1 on domestic platforms including the Circle Chart Retail Album Ranking and Hanteo’s real-time chart. The release has also shown strong digital performance, with every track from the album entering local streaming charts shortly after launch.

The album’s impact has extended far beyond Korea. LEMONADE secured the No. 1 position on the iTunes Top Album Chart across 19 regions, including markets such as Mexico, Japan, Brazil, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. It also placed within the Top 10 in over 30 additional countries, including major music markets like the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, and Australia.
In China, aespa achieved “Triple Platinum” certification on QQ Music after surpassing 3 million yuan in sales. The group also led multiple Tencent Music platforms, topping both general and K-pop-specific digital album charts. Similar success followed in Japan, where the album reached No. 1 on Line Music’s real-time album ranking and performed strongly on AWA and Recochoku charts.
The title track’s music video also made a powerful debut, surpassing 10 million views in under 24 hours. It quickly rose to the top of QQ Music’s music video rankings as well as Korean MV charts, reflecting intense global fan engagement.
LEMONADE features a total of 10 tracks, showcasing aespa’s evolving sound and expanded concept universe. The album includes the title track “LEMONADE” alongside the pre-release collaboration track “WDA (Whole Different Animal) (feat. G-DRAGON),” highlighting a more mature and cohesive musical direction for the group.
aespa will continue their comeback promotions with performances on MBC’s Show! Music Core and SBS’s Inkigayo later this week.
