Rookie boy group KickFlip has made a powerful comeback, with their 4th mini album My First Kick debuting at the top of major real-time album charts.
Released on April 6 at 6 PM KST, the album and its title track “I Want to Be an Eye to You” (눈에 거슬리고 싶어 / Eye-Poppin’) have received enthusiastic praise from fans and critics alike, being called the “audiovisualization of youth.”

The album perfectly captures the clumsy yet exciting feelings of twenty-year-olds experiencing everything for the first time — from chaotic challenges to fluttering first love. Members actively participated in the creative process, with Gyehun (Kyehoon) contributing to the writing and composition of the title track. The song’s cheeky, confident, and flirtatious lyrics, delivered with KickFlip’s signature energetic “Kick-ral” charm, quickly resonated with listeners.
Just hours after release, the title track claimed No.1 on Bugs real-time chart, while all tracks from the album entered the charts. My First Kick also topped the real-time album charts on both Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart.
On the same day, KickFlip held the “Annoying from Beginning to End Comeback Show” on Mnet M2, delivering lively performances including “Twenty,” “Upside Down,” and the powerful first stage of “I Want to Be an Eye to You.” The show featured fun segments such as the “Annoying Flirting Meeting,” a love song medley, and members sharing humorous personal stories, showcasing their playful personalities and strong variety skills.
Later that evening, the group held a successful comeback showcase at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul, where they shared behind-the-scenes stories and performed their new songs for fans (WeFlip).
KickFlip expressed their goals for this promotion, saying they want to grow from being an “eye-catching” presence to leaving a long-lasting beautiful impression on fans.
The 4th mini album My First Kick is now available on all major streaming platforms. A special pop-up store will run from April 7 to 13 at LCDC SEOUL in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
With this release, KickFlip continues to solidify their position as one of the most refreshing and promising young acts in K-pop.
