Rapper D.Ark, known for his appearances on Show Me The Money 777 and High School Rapper 4, has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of distributing and using marijuana — only four days after releasing his new music.
According to Korean media reports on October 28, the Mokpo Police Department executed an arrest warrant for the rapper on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. Authorities are said to be investigating D.Ark on allegations of both selling and smoking marijuana, though the artist has denied all accusations during questioning.
D.Ark, born in Yanbian, China, rose to fame as a teenage rap prodigy through competitive hip-hop shows. After gaining attention on national television, he briefly signed with PSY’s label, P Nation, before parting ways less than a year later. He has since been working under Gozplan, an emerging management agency.
His arrest comes just days after the release of his latest single album, featuring the tracks “1010,” “Girlfriend,” and “Sorry for Cheating.” The sudden development has left fans stunned, as D.Ark had only recently returned to the spotlight after a period of relative quiet in his career.
Police investigations are ongoing, and further details regarding the case and potential legal actions are expected to follow.
