On October 3, KBS2’s Music Bank did not air as scheduled, but the program announced its K-Chart for the first week of October on its official website. According to the chart, KickFlip’s “My First Love Song” from their third mini album My First Flip rose to No. 1, earning the group their very first trophy on a national, free-to-air broadcaster.
This achievement comes just days after the group claimed their first-ever music show win on MBC M’s Show! Champion on October 1. With back-to-back victories, KickFlip has now become a two-time winner, proving their rapid growth and solidifying their reputation as one of the hottest rookie groups of 2025.
The track carries special meaning, as maknae Donghyun participated in both writing and composing “First Song.” The uptempo, pop-punk-inspired dance track pairs vibrant synths and guitar riffs with lyrics about the excitement of confessing first love, capturing youthful emotions with KickFlip’s high energy.
Beyond their music show achievements, KickFlip is seeing record-breaking success with their latest release. My First Flip sold 402,405 copies in its first week, setting a career high for the group, while also sweeping major charts including Hanteo and Circle.
