The donation will be split equally: 50 million won will go toward medical treatment and care for patients suffering from severe illnesses, while the other 50 million won will support hospital expenses for children and adolescents.
“I want to thank the fans who have allowed me to fill my birthday with this meaningful act of sharing,” Han said in a statement released through JYP Entertainment. “I hope it will go to where it is needed and bring courage and strength to people.”
Han’s gift reflects his ongoing commitment to giving back to the community. Earlier this year, he and the Stray Kids members collectively donated 800 million won to help restore areas of the Gyeongsang region affected by devastating wildfires.
The 23-year-old artist, known for his talent as a rapper, singer, and producer, has often spoken about the importance of fans in his life, turning their support into acts of kindness that ripple far beyond the stage.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids continue to make history on the global stage. Their fourth full-length album KARMA, released on August 22, entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 — their seventh consecutive chart-topping debut, setting a new milestone in K-pop history. The group will also hold encore performances of their dominATE world tour at the Incheon Asiad Stadium on October 18 and 19.
