K-pop fans got a major surprise as Jay Park officially pulled back the curtain on his long-anticipated boy group.
On September 19, the More Vision founder took the stage at Hanyang University’s Seoul campus festival, where he once again proved why he’s a staple on the university circuit. With signature charisma, flawless live vocals, and a crowd-commanding presence, Jay Park had the audience in full energy mode.
But the highlight came when his rookie boy group LNGSHOT (pronounced “Long Shot”) made their unexpected debut appearance. Without prior teasers of music or concept, the four-member group stormed the stage with an unreleased track, electrifying the crowd and setting social media abuzz.

Shortly after, Jay Park tagged the group’s official account and shared photos of the members on Instagram. His captions carried the same rebellious energy he’s known for: “#itsalngshotbutwelltakeit” and “#middlefingertothenorm.” Both hashtags signaled LNGSHOT’s ambition to challenge industry conventions and embrace risk as their identity.
Previously, Jay Park had only teased blurry photos and cryptic hints about the group at other festival appearances, sparking curiosity. Now, with faces revealed and a performance delivered, anticipation has skyrocketed. The singer-turned-producer also confirmed onstage that LNGSHOT is gearing up for an official debut in January 2026.
LNGSHOT, the first boy group under Jay Park’s label More Vision, consists of four members: Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin, and Rui. With just one surprise stage, they’ve already set the tone as a team ready to disrupt the K-pop scene.
As the countdown to their debut begins, all eyes are on Jay Park and LNGSHOT—will this “long shot” be the industry’s next big win?
