Stray Kids are ramping up promotion for their highly anticipated JAPAN 4th Mini Album SUIATSU, set for release on November 25, 2026. The eight-member group recently unveiled a wave of new concept photos, including main and sub solo images plus group shots, via their official Japanese channels.

The album marks Stray Kids’ first Japanese mini-album in roughly a year and a half and arrives in an expansive 12 versions: limited editions with Blu-ray or special zine, standard editions, individual member solo discs, and a fanclub-exclusive version. Teaser and mood images released earlier this month already drew strong praise for their cool, elegant aesthetic featuring frosted tones, pearls, and refined styling. The latest group and solo images continue that high-fashion direction.
While many STAYs celebrated the members’ sharp visuals and artistic direction, a portion of online discussion has focused on the members’ poses. Some fans noted that several shots show the group members in more relaxed or slightly slouched stances rather than fully upright, formal postures. Comments circulating on social media have pointed out that even the tallest members appear to be downplaying their height in certain frames instead of standing at full stature.

Stray Kids’ height rankings are a frequent topic among fans, with Hyunjin and Seungmin commonly cited among the tallest (around 178–180 cm / 5'10"–5'11" depending on the source). Critics of the photos argued that the composition and poses make the group look more uniform in height and less dynamic than expected for promotional images. A few posts specifically called out the “slouching” across multiple members and expressed mild disappointment that the tallest members weren’t framed to emphasize their stature.
One consistent exception noted by fans is Felix. Many pointed out that Felix almost always stands tall and upright in the new images, maintaining strong posture even when surrounding members lean or relax into more casual poses. STAYs highlighted this contrast, with some commenting that Felix’s consistently straight stance makes him stand out visually and reinforces the polished, intentional feel of the concept.
Other fans pushed back, defending the artistic choices. They described the relaxed postures as intentional — part of a cool, effortless concept rather than a traditional “power pose” approach — and praised the overall visual consistency and high production quality. Positive reactions still dominate the conversation, with many calling the images “stunning,” “art,” and among the group’s strongest Japanese promo work to date.
The mixed feedback reflects typical online discourse around K-pop concept photos, where small details in styling, posture, and framing can spark lengthy debate even amid widespread excitement. Stray Kids continue their World Tour alongside the album rollout, with additional offline events and merchandise collaborations already announced.
SUIATSU is scheduled for release on November 25, 2026. Pre-orders are open across major retailers, and further content — including music and performance videos — is expected in the coming weeks.
