K-pop icons SHINee are officially making their long-awaited return to the stage, confirming their eighth solo concert set to take place this May in Seoul—marking a major moment for fans worldwide and the group’s first full-scale concert in a year.
The three-day event, titled “The Trilogy I – 2026 SHINee WORLD VIII: [THE INVERT]”, will be held from May 29 to 31 at the iconic KSPO Dome. Known for delivering groundbreaking performances, SHINee is expected to once again redefine the concert experience with a fresh artistic direction.
The concert’s theme, “INVERT,” symbolizes transformation and reversal—hinting at a creative shift in how SHINee’s music and storytelling will be presented. Fans can expect innovative staging, unexpected arrangements, and a reimagined look at the group’s signature sound and legacy.
As one of K-pop’s most influential acts, SHINee has built a reputation for pushing boundaries, and this concert is already generating buzz across social media platforms as fans anticipate a new chapter in their evolution.
Tickets will be available via Melon Ticket, with fan club pre-sales opening on March 30 at 8 PM (KST), followed by general sales on April 1 at 8 PM (KST). Given SHINee’s global fanbase, high demand and rapid sell-outs are expected.
The announcement also marks the return of Key after a five-month hiatus from activities. The artist had previously stepped back following controversy surrounding alleged involvement with unauthorized medical services linked to a case involving entertainer Park Na-rae.
Key acknowledged receiving treatment at his home and subsequently withdrew from all ongoing broadcast programs. His return to the stage through SHINee’s concert signals a new beginning, drawing significant attention from both fans and industry watchers.
