This isn’t just a one-time feat. With HAPPY BURSTDAY, SEVENTEEN notched their 14th No.1 album on the Oricon charts and continued their 10-album winning streak since 2021’s Attacca. The group's impressive consistency cements their position as one of the most dominant K-pop acts in the Japanese market.
HAPPY BURSTDAY claimed No.1 on Line Music’s real-time and daily 'Album Top 100', as well as the local iTunes 'Top Album' chart and Apple Music's 'Top Album' chart. It also held the No.1 spot on Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking for six consecutive days from May 27 through June 1.
As SEVENTEEN reaches a decade in the K-pop industry, military service is becoming an increasingly central chapter in their story. Wonwoo and Jeonghan have already begun their mandatory military service in South Korea, marking the group's gradual entry into this inevitable phase. Meanwhile, Hoshi and Woozi, both born in 1996, are scheduled to enlist in the second half of 2025. Hoshi recently shared that he and Woozi have already received their enlistment dates but will be able to celebrate SEVENTEEN’s 10th debut anniversary with fans before beginning their service. "We’ve received our military enlistment schedules, and we’ll be enlisting later this year, but we’ll be able to make some lasting memories and celebrate our 10th anniversary together," Hoshi said.
