BLACKPINK has officially pressed play on a new era. On June 26, the global powerhouse unveiled the jaw-dropping trailer for their upcoming “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE>,” setting the internet ablaze and marking their full return with a bold new artistic direction.
Filmed against the cinematic backdrop of the Lancaster desert and a Hollywood studio, the nearly two-minute trailer feels more like a blockbuster teaser than a concert preview. It opens with Rosé alone at a payphone, surrounded by nothing but sand and silence—until a moody Western soundtrack rolls in. From there, the camera cuts to Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé, each exuding main-character energy as they cruise down a desolate highway in high fashion. Think postmodern road movie, but make it BLACKPINK.
With 16 cities and 31 stadium shows on the schedule, including stops in Los Angeles, Paris, Bangkok, and Tokyo, BLACKPINK is clearly aiming higher than ever before. The tour officially kicks off July 5–6 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Korea, where fans will get the very first live performance of BLACKPINK’s upcoming new single—their first in nearly three years.
While details about the track remain tightly under wraps, expectations are through the roof. With their track record of genre-bending anthems, fans and critics alike are bracing for another game-changing release.
The trailer isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s a visual manifesto. The imagery of the members reunited on a long stretch of road, looking fierce and free, signals more than just the start of a tour. It represents BLACKPINK stepping back onto the world stage as elevated artists—seasoned, fearless, and ready to take creative risks.
