This release marks a significant milestone for the artist, arriving nearly 20 years after his debut as a member of BIGBANG, and signals the start of a new chapter in his solo career.
The album is led by double title tracks, “DESPERADO” and “완전미쳤어! (Studio54),” each presenting a distinct musical direction.
“DESPERADO,” released alongside its music video, delivers an emotional and stripped-back approach, capturing the raw essence of love through minimalist visuals and a focused narrative. In contrast, “Studio54” explores a more energetic sound, combining house music with 80s hip-hop influences and a dynamic, experimental structure.
