Jennie delivered one of the night’s most memorable moments at the 40th Golden Disc Awards, taking home three major trophies and reaffirming her position as one of K-pop’s most influential artists—both as a soloist and as a member of BLACKPINK.
The milestone ceremony took place on January 10 at the Taipei Dome in Taiwan, marking the first time the Golden Disc Awards were held at the venue and celebrating the show’s 40th anniversary. Hosted by Sung Si-kyung and actress Moon Ga-young, the event brought together top-tier K-pop artists and industry figures from across the globe.
Jennie first stepped onto the stage as her 2025 solo hit “Like Jennie” earned a Main Prize in the Digital Song category. Expressing her gratitude, she shared how meaningful it felt to return to the Golden Disc Awards after a long time, thanking fans for their unwavering support and the many people who contributed to her music.
Moments later, Jennie returned to the spotlight—this time representing BLACKPINK. The group secured a Digital Song Main Prize for “Jump,” prompting Jennie to warmly acknowledge her bandmates despite standing on stage alone. She addressed Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa directly, assuring fans that the members were surely celebrating together in spirit, and credited producer Teddy for his continued support.
The evening culminated with Jennie receiving the Global Impact with PRIZM Award, her third trophy of the night. The honor recognizes artists who have played a significant role in expanding K-culture on the international stage. In her acceptance speech, Jennie emphasized that none of her achievements would be possible without her fans, affectionately greeting BLINKs worldwide and expressing how much she missed them.
