JYP Entertainment has officially opened applications for its 20th Public Trainee Audition, marking the final installment of a legendary audition series that has shaped the global K-pop landscape for nearly two decades. Scheduled across five major cities in South Korea, this nationwide search will determine the next wave of stars expected to lead K-pop into 2026 and beyond.

For 20 years, this audition has been a gate through which some of the world's most loved performers entered the industry. With the 20th audition closing this historic chapter, the anticipation and competition are expected to be higher than ever.
National Tour Audition Schedule (2026)
JYP’s 20th public audition will take place in the following cities:
Gwangju – Jan 17Daejeon – Jan 18
Busan – Jan 24
Daegu – Jan 25
Seoul – Jan 31 – Feb 1 (Final stop)
Final successful candidates will earn the opportunity to become JYP trainees — joining a label known for nurturing artistry, individuality, and longevity.
Who Can Apply?
Applications opened December 1 through the official JYP audition website.
Eligibility includes:
Can apply in ONE category: Vocal, Rap, Dance, Model, or Acting
Applications close one day before each regional audition at 23:59 KST
