NexZ just proved their global rise is no accident. The fast-growing rookie group snagged two major awards at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) on November 15, marking one of their biggest nights since debut and cementing their status as K-pop’s newest global force.
Held at Incheon’s Inspire Arena, Day 2 of the ceremony—known as Music Day—saw NexZ called to the stage as the winners of “K-pop Overseas Artist”. The group, who earlier this year was spotlighted by Grammy.com as a “2025 K-Pop Rookie to Watch,” has been rapidly expanding their footprint, especially after stepping onto Japan’s legendary Budokan stage in July.
Moments later, the group’s night got even brighter as they also picked up the “Hulu Japan Popularity Award,” making them double winners at this year’s KGMA.
Onstage, NexZ delivered a heartfelt and excited message to their fans:
“Thank you so much for this amazing award,” the members said with bright smiles. “We want to thank PD Park Jin-young, CEO Jung Wook, and all the JYP family for always supporting us.”
Turning to their fandom, Nexty, they shouted:
“Nexty! We won an award! We received this thanks to you. Please keep looking forward to our performances—we’ll continue to work hard!”
Later, as they accepted their second trophy of the evening, the group couldn’t hide their excitement:
“We got one more award! This is our first popularity-vote award, and it means so much. We’ll keep working even harder.”
NexZ also delivered a powerful three-stage performance of “Into,” “I’m Him,” and “Beat Boxer,” showcasing their sharp choreography and growing charisma as live performers.

Adding to the excitement, their JYP sunbaenim Stray Kids were spotted in the audience cheering loudly and hyping them up—creating one of the most heartwarming and energizing moments of the night.
