Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has issued a strong denial against recent allegations from HYBE, which claimed she pressured employees to support a specific political party. Min characterized these accusations as an "irrelevant political frame" introduced into their ongoing legal disagreements.
The dispute intensified following a social media post by Min on November 28, which featured her attending a rally advocating for the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk Yeol. Min asserted that HYBE attempted to present this and related matters as evidence in court, but the presiding judge deemed the information irrelevant to the proceedings. She detailed her personal political stance, explaining that her support for the Democratic Party and former President Moon Jae In, as well as current political figure Lee Jae Myung (since his tenure as Seongnam mayor), are long-standing and personal.
Min further clarified that a private comment made in 2020, expressing disappointment with real estate policies, is now being misinterpreted. She emphasized her participation in various political demonstrations, including impeachment rallies, and her personal contributions to protestors, asserting that these actions represent her private views. She questioned the basis of HYBE's allegations, suggesting they are derived from private KakaoTalk messages taken out of context.
Min Hee Jin's explicit denial and detailed explanation highlight the escalating nature of the conflict between her and HYBE. Her public statements aim to clarify her personal political activities and firmly reject any suggestion of impropriety in her professional conduct concerning staff, reinforcing the complexities of the ongoing corporate and legal battle.
