Stray Kids’ leader Bang Chan marked his birthday on October 3 in a way that perfectly reflects both his artistry and his heart. Known not only as an extraordinary producer, composer, and lyricist, but also as a genuinely kind human being, Bang Chan once again used his special day to give back.
According to JYP Entertainment, Bang Chan donated a total of ₩200 million (approximately $145,000 USD), with ₩100 million each going to Samsung Seoul Hospital to support treatment costs for pediatric patients and to UNICEF Korea to fund children’s health, nutrition, sanitation, education, protection, and emergency relief initiatives.
This contribution earned him a place in UNICEF’s prestigious Honors Club, a circle of high-value donors. It follows last year’s birthday, when he donated ₩100 million to the Community Chest of Korea, joining their Honor Society.
Bang Chan shared his gratitude in a statement:
“Thanks to the precious love my fans have given me on my birthday, I was able to share warmth with others. I sincerely hope this can be a small strength for children as they dream brighter dreams and tomorrows.”
Of course, no Bang Chan birthday would be complete without the traditional YouTube Live broadcast. Once again, he greeted fans worldwide with warmth, laughter, and sincerity—looking flawless in his carefully chosen fit that fans couldn’t stop praising. His annual livestream tradition has become a cherished moment where he connects directly with Stay, proving why he is celebrated not only as an artist but also as a leader with unmatched dedication to his fans.
