JYP Entertainment’s rising rookie group NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Huey, Yuki) are proving once again why they’re being hailed as one of the most powerful next-generation acts in K-pop. On October 3rd, the group dropped the music video for their bold b-side track “I’m Him” from their upcoming third mini-album Beat-Boxer.

The special video, which has already smashed past 2.2 million views, showcases the group’s trademark charisma and performance power. Set against an urban nightscape where a towering wall of speakers lights up the alley, the members stride with unshakable confidence. From striking accessories and sharp expressions to dynamic gestures like blowing out candles and tearing paper, NEXZ channel a raw, hip energy that highlights their individual personalities while still moving as one.
With Beat-Boxer set for release on October 27th, anticipation is building. The album will feature five tracks in total, including the self-written “Next To Me,” composed and arranged by members Tomoya and Haru, further cementing the group’s hands-on approach to their music. Fans who purchase the physical album will also get access to the CD-only track “Z Side_250823.”
Before the big release, NEXZ are set to hold their first solo concert in Korea, NEXZ SPECIAL CONCERT <ONE BEAT>, on October 25th and 26th at Olympic Hall in Seoul. Expectations are sky-high as the group continues to showcase not only their versatility as artists but also their undeniable star power on stage.
With explosive performances, growing global attention, and a clear sense of identity, NEXZ are shaping up to be one of the defining acts of K-pop’s future—fearless, charismatic, and unapologetically themselves.
