aespa is set to make major waves in the U.S. as they gear up for back-to-back television appearances to promote their latest mini album Rich Man.
On September 12 (local time), aespa will perform live on ABC’s Good Morning America (GMA), marking their third visit to the iconic morning show following appearances in 2022 and 2023. Immediately after, the group will head to the set of Fox TV’s The Jennifer Hudson Show, hosted by the multi-award-winning singer and actress Jennifer Hudson, who has achieved the rare EGOT status with Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards to her name. Fans can look forward to a powerful “Rich Man” stage as well as an in-depth talk segment with the group.
The excitement comes on the heels of Rich Man’s remarkable success. Released on September 5, the album surpassed 1.11 million pre-orders, securing aespa’s seventh consecutive million-seller record. It quickly topped iTunes Top Album charts in 14 regions worldwide and swept multiple digital music charts across China, Japan, and beyond.
Adding to the momentum, British daily The Times praised the album for its confidence and energy, calling aespa “an unstoppable force” and awarding it one of the highest ratings ever given to a K-pop release.
Following their U.S. promotions, aespa will kick off a large-scale arena tour starting in Fukuoka on October 4–5, with stops in Tokyo, Aichi, Bangkok, and Osaka through November.
