Seoul, August 27, 2025 – Actress Song Da-eun has once again become the subject of public scrutiny after a video posted to her social media sparked fresh speculation regarding BTS member Jimin.
On August 27, Song shared a short clip via her TikTok account showing herself greeting someone in what appeared to be the hallway of a residential building. In the now-deleted video, a male voice could be heard saying, “Did you know I was coming? I didn’t tell you on purpose.” Some viewers claimed the voice resembled Jimin’s, which quickly reignited dating rumors that have followed the actress and the BTS member since 2022.
The post was removed shortly after being uploaded, but by then it had already circulated across online communities and social networking platforms, fueling widespread discussion.
This is not the first time Song Da-eun and Jimin’s names have been linked. Past social media activity from the actress has repeatedly led to speculation, though no official confirmation has ever been made by either party. Both Song Da-eun and Jimin’s agency, BigHit Music, have consistently declined to comment on the rumors.

Online Reaction and Harassment Allegations
Alongside the renewed speculation, Song Da-eun has spoken openly in the past about facing online harassment following the rumors. She has previously shared screenshots of malicious comments and revealed that she pursued legal action against certain individuals for defamation.
During live broadcasts, the actress has also expressed emotional distress over the negative attention, at times breaking down in tears while addressing critical messages directed at her. “I’m not in the wrong just because people want to believe something,” she said in one past livestream, calling for an end to personal attacks.
Silence From Both Sides
Despite the renewed attention, neither Song Da-eun nor BigHit Music has provided further clarification. As with earlier reports, both sides continue to maintain silence regarding the speculation.
Song Da-eun rose to fame through the 2018 reality show Heart Signal 2 and has since appeared in dramas including Can’t Lose and Once Again. Jimin, a member of BTS, completed his military service in June and is expected to return with new music activities in the coming year.
