V of BTS is officially back—and Paris is his first stop. On July 4, the global icon was seen at Incheon International Airport on his way to attend CELINE’s latest fashion event, marking his first official appearance at a global fashion show since completing his mandatory military service.
Wearing a crisp white shirt and faded denim jeans, V (real name Kim Taehyung) kept his look effortlessly cool yet polished. A luxury bag with a metallic heart-shaped charm and a tiny teddy bear keyring added just enough flair to the outfit. Despite wearing a mask, his sharp features and piercing eyes were unmistakable—fans flocked to the airport in the hundreds to catch a glimpse of the star’s return to the public eye.
This is not V’s first connection to CELINE. Fans still remember his appearance at supermodel Naomi Campbell’s 53rd birthday party in Cannes last year—an event that made waves across social media. Held at the luxurious Villa Julia during the 76th Cannes Film Festival and hosted by Boss, the celebration welcomed an elite guest list including V, K-drama star Park Bo-gum, and BLACKPINK’s Lisa. Taehyung stunned in a sleek CELINE suit from the brand’s Fall 2023 Menswear collection, designed by the label’s Image Director Hedi Slimane. His black collarless jacket with a sequined bow accent, paired with matching black trousers and a tousled hairstyle, made him one of the night’s standout looks.
Since then, BLACKPINK’s Lisa—who also attended the party—has parted ways with CELINE and is now the global ambassador for Louis Vuitton.
Back to present day, CELINE’s Paris event serves as a timely re-entry for V into the global style conversation. The brand, founded in 1946 and acquired by the LVMH group in 1996, continues to build its prestige with high-profile ambassadors and celebrity supporters. V’s attendance reaffirms his long-standing rapport with the house and its creative vision.
Meanwhile, BTS is preparing for a full-group return in 2026, following the completion of all members' military service. According to recent posts on Weverse, a new album is expected in spring 2026, with production beginning this summer. A world tour is also in the works.
