BLACKPINK has done it again.

Released on July 11th at 1 PM KST, ‘JUMP’ is already cementing itself as a fan favorite and a chart-crusher. According to YG Entertainment, the video crossed the 100 million mark on July 26 at 2:52 AM, continuing the group’s legacy of breaking records with every release.

But ‘JUMP’ isn’t just another BLACKPINK comeback. It’s a genre-bending anthem that boldly breaks away from their traditional sound. The track was written by an international powerhouse team, including Teddy, Diplo, 24, Zikai, Claudia Valentina, Jumpa, Malachiii, and Jesse Bluu, with production handled by Diplo, 24, Boaz van de Beatz, Zecca, and Ape Drums.
Sonically, ‘JUMP’ is a fast-paced, high-energy hardstyle and dance-pop banger, fusing together a fierce mix of club music, synth-pop, European techno, and EDM. The result? A genre-defying explosion of sound that feels both fresh and addictive—a clear departure from BLACKPINK’s usual pop-forward hits.
‘JUMP’ immediately became the #1 most-watched YouTube video within 24 hours of its release. It then dominated the global YouTube daily chart for 8 consecutive days, eventually taking the top spots for both weekly most popular song and weekly most popular MV. And the domination extends beyond YouTube.
On Spotify, ‘JUMP’ hit #1 on the Global Weekly Chart, earning BLACKPINK the record for most No.1 songs by any K-pop group. Over in the UK, the single debuted at #18 on the Official Singles Chart, marking their highest position to date. In the U.S., the track topped both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S., setting yet another record as the first K-pop girl group to achieve this feat four times combined.
And while the song dominates charts, BLACKPINK is also ruling the stage.
The group is currently on their massive DEADLINE WORLD TOUR, which spans 16 cities and 31 shows. So far, they've lit up arenas in Goyang, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Toronto, with more global stops lined up—including New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Bangkok, Jakarta, Tokyo, and more.
