BLACKPINK is back—and bigger than ever. Over the weekend, the world’s top K-pop girl group reunited on stage for their first full-group concert in nearly two years, launching their “DEADLINE” world tour with a dazzling two-night spectacle at Goyang Stadium. Drawing a total of 78,000 fans across July 5 and 6, the shows were more than just a comeback—they were a celebration of BLACKPINK’s enduring legacy and a glimpse into its future.

A Return Written in Fireworks
From the moment the lights dimmed and the iconic line “BLACKPINK in your area!” echoed through the stadium, it was clear: this wasn’t just a concert, it was an event. Pyrotechnics burst into the sky, fans erupted in cheers, and BLACKPINK hit the stage with full force—opening with explosive performances of “Kill This Love,” “Pink Venom,” and “How You Like That.”
Despite the 30-degree heat, BLINKs from around the globe filled the stadium, dressed in black and pink and waving the beloved lightsticks in unison. The crowd’s energy mirrored the group’s, matching every beat and lyric with deafening singalongs.
The Power of Four, Together Again
This concert marked the first time since November 2023 that all four members—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—stood on the same stage under the BLACKPINK name. Since pursuing solo endeavors with different agencies, their individual star power has only grown. But together, they reminded everyone why BLACKPINK remains untouchable.
Each member delivered solo stages that highlighted their unique artistry. Jisoo captivated with “earthquake” and “Your Love”; Lisa turned up the heat with “New Woman” and viral hit “ROCKSTAR”; Jennie stunned with “MANTRA” and “LIKE JENNIE”; and Rosé poured her soul into emotional performances of “3AM,” “Toxic Till The End,” and fan favorite “APT.”
“I hope this song gives you the same comfort it gave me,” Rosé shared before performing “3AM,” revealing the track was born out of a lonely night and a need for warmth. Later, she even brought a young fan on stage to sing “APT” together—creating one of the most heartwarming moments of the night.
New Era, New Anthem: “JUMP”
A major highlight of the show was the surprise premiere of their brand-new single, “JUMP”, their first group release in 2 years and 8 months. The song’s Western-inspired intro and EDM build-up had fans literally jumping out of their seats, living up to its name.
“It’s addictive, right?” Jisoo teased the crowd. “It’ll be out soon, but we wanted to show it to you first. Please promise us you’ll stream it at least five times!”
With tracks like “BOOMBAYAH,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” and “Forever Young” returning to the setlist, BLACKPINK proved that their story is far from over—it’s still being written.

Their presence wasn’t just a show of support—it was a statement: BLACKPINK’s comeback is a cultural moment no one wanted to miss.
Stadium Dreams Fulfilled
Performing at Goyang Stadium wasn’t just a venue choice—it was a milestone. BLACKPINK became the first K-pop girl group to headline a solo concert at the venue, transforming it into a full-blown festival with fireworks, live band arrangements, and a Coachella-like atmosphere.
The production was global in every sense. Collaborating with creative teams who’ve worked with the likes of Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK delivered a stadium-sized spectacle complete with orchestral arrangements, world-class dancers, and live band backing for every song.
Even sustainability was part of the plan. Fans were provided with eco-friendly “BLACKPINK Water” in paper packs instead of plastic bottles, and booths were set up to raise awareness about carbon footprints and recycling.

“It’s Just the Beginning”
As fireworks closed out the night with “As If It’s Your Last” and “Forever Young,” emotions ran high. Jennie looked out at the packed stadium and said, “We never imagined this when we debuted. Thank you for helping us live our dream.” Lisa added, “I was nervous all weekend—but seeing your smiles, I’m just grateful.”
BLACKPINK’s “DEADLINE” tour has only just begun. From Seoul to Los Angeles, Milan, London, Tokyo, and 11 other cities, the group will perform in 16 countries across 31 shows. And if Goyang was any indication, BLACKPINK isn’t slowing down—they’re just getting started.
Because in 2025, the phrase “BLACKPINK in your area” hits harder than ever.
