TWS (투어스) continues their unstoppable ascent, capturing their first-ever 1st place trophy on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ with their latest hit “마음 따라 뛰는 건 멋지지 않아?” (“Isn’t It Cool to Run with Your Heart?”).
Broadcast on May 3rd, the performance marked a new career high for the rookie group, who have now clinched five music show wins in a single promotional cycle—an impressive feat for a group just in their third mini-album era, TRY WITH US.

With this victory, TWS has swept every major music program they’ve appeared on this past week: SBS M’s ‘The Show’, MBC M’s ‘Show Champion’, Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’, KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’, and now MBC’s ‘Music Core’. The streak puts them on the brink of achieving a rare music show grand slam, should they win on SBS’s Inkigayo.
During the encore, members Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin thanked their fandom, 42, saying, “We promised to give performances that our fans could be proud of, and thanks to your support, we’re achieving our dreams one step at a time.”
Adding a personal touch to the win, member Dohoon served as MC for the episode, with Youngjae joining as a special MC—making the moment even more memorable for the group.
On stage, the boys sported matching light blue casual looks and delivered an energetic, free-spirited performance that embodied the song’s youthful message. Their choreography, full of spontaneous jumps and playful gestures, has become a signature element of this promotion cycle.
Meanwhile, their title track continues to climb digital charts, rising to #84 on Melon’s daily ranking as of May 2, with momentum fueled by their dynamic music show appearances.
All eyes are now on Inkigayo, airing later today, where TWS could potentially complete a full music show sweep—a first in 2025.

TWS Takes First ‘M Countdown’ Win, Achieves Music Show Triple Crown
Rising K-pop boy group TWS (투어스) continues to make waves as they clinch their first-ever ‘M Countdown’ win and secure a music show triple crown with their latest title track, “마음 따라 뛰는 건 멋지지 않아?” (“Isn’t It Cool to Run with Your Heart?”).
On May 1st, TWS won first place on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ with the lead single from their 3rd mini-album ‘TRY WITH US’. This marks their third music show win, following previous victories on SBS M’s ‘The Show’ and MBC M’s ‘Show Champion’. Notably, this is the group’s first trophy on M Countdown since debut.

In their acceptance speech, TWS expressed gratitude to fans and listeners, saying, “Thank you to everyone who listens to our music. We will continue to refine our unique sound and strive to become the TWS you can trust and enjoy.” Their encore performance showed off both vocal strength and youthful energy, solidifying their image as 5th-generation all-rounders.
On stage, the members performed in casual, vibrant outfits, delivering a dynamic stage filled with high jumps and carefree choreography that captured the spirit of youth.
Their album is enjoying strong chart performance both domestically and overseas. TRY WITH US ranked 2nd on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Combined Albums Chart and reached 2nd on Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales and 5th on the Hot Albums chart. Billboard Japan highlighted that the album neared 100,000 in sales, doubling the first-week sales of their previous release ‘SUMMER BEAT!’.
Domestically, the album topped Hanteo Chart’s weekly ranking and Circle Chart’s album chart for April 20–26. The title track is also climbing digital charts, debuting at #95 on Melon’s daily chart and gradually rising to #89 by April 30.
