Stray Kids has made K-pop history once again, becoming the First 4th Gen K-pop Group to Reach 10 Billion Spotify Streams - Now the Third Most-Streamed K-pop Group in History
According to JYP Entertainment on May 28, the 4th generation boy group achieved the milestone through the total number of streams from all their songs uploaded on the global music platform. This accomplishment puts Stray Kids in an elite league alongside BTS and BLACKPINK—marking the first time a 4th generation K-pop group has reached such heights.
Global Recognition and Record-Breaking Achievements
This new feat is just the latest in a long string of achievements by Stray Kids. In 2024, they ranked 3rd on Spotify’s Global Top K-pop Artist list, the highest ranking among all 4th generation boy groups. They've also made Billboard history, becoming the first K-pop act to debut at No.1 on the Billboard 200 and following that up with six consecutive No.1 entries on the same chart—a testament to their growing global presence.
Stray Kids’ success is even more significant because they are a self-producing group, with members actively participating in songwriting and production. Their rise is often cited as a shift in the industry toward artist-led creative direction.
American Music Awards and Netflix's “Arcane” Soundtrack
On May 26 (local time), Stray Kids added another landmark to their portfolio at the 2025 American Music Awards. Their track “Come Play”, released in October 2024, was featured in the Season 2 soundtrack of the hit Netflix animated series Arcane. The soundtrack went on to win the Favorite Soundtrack award at the AMAs.
This marks the group’s second consecutive year being spotlighted at the AMAs, following their 2024 performance—the second time ever a K-pop group performed at the event. Their direct involvement in the Arcane soundtrack is further evidence of their expanding influence across global media and entertainment.

Dominating the World Tour Scene
Stray Kids is currently in the midst of their largest-ever world tour, “Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>”, which kicked off with a historic sold-out concert at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park on May 24—the first time a K-pop act has completely sold out the stadium.
The group will perform a total of 13 shows in 10 North American cities, including a stop in San Francisco on May 28. In total, the tour is expected to draw 2.2 million attendees, setting a new record for most-attended K-pop tour by a single act.
