On January 2, BTS member J-Hope donated 100 million KRW (approximately $76,000 USD) to help the families affected by the tragic Jeju Air crash. The donation was made through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.
J-Hope shared his condolences, saying, "I wanted to offer some help to the grieving families. My thoughts are with them, and with everyone affected by this tragedy."
A member of the Hope Bridge Honor Society, J-Hope has previously supported various disaster relief efforts, including a donation for flood victims in 2023.
Hope Bridge's Shin Hoon, the Executive Director, expressed gratitude for J-Hope's kind gesture and assured that the funds would be directly provided to the victims' families.
