Pledis Entertainment has officially announced that SEVENTEEN members Jeonghan and Jun will be taking a hiatus during the second half of 2024. Jeonghan is set to fulfill his mandatory military enlistment, while Jun will focus on advancing his acting career.

In a statement released on Monday, Pledis confirmed that Jeonghan will begin his military service later this year, marking a temporary departure from group activities. As the eldest member of SEVENTEEN, his enlistment was expected, but fans are expressing both pride and sadness as they prepare to bid him farewell for the time being.
Meanwhile, Jun, who has shown remarkable versatility as both a singer and actor, will be dedicating his time to acting projects in China. The decision to focus on acting comes after the success of his recent dramas, with Jun eager to further explore his talent in the acting industry.
