Tickets for the free “Coupang Play x Big Bang 20th Anniversary X Hangang Collaboration” go on sale at 7 p.m. on July 28 via the Coupang Play mobile app on a first-come, first-served basis.
The all-free event, staged to mark the group’s debut anniversary, takes place at 8 p.m. on August 19 at the Mulbit Stage in Yeouido Hangang Park. It serves as a special pre-event ahead of Big Bang’s world-tour kickoff. Only Coupang Wow members can apply, with a maximum of two tickets per account. A reservation fee applies, payments are limited to domestically issued cards, and Coupang Play will enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy against scalping or unauthorized resale—any violations will result in immediate cancellation.

Organizers say the evening will blend Big Bang’s music with large-scale visuals. Expected highlights include DJ performances of the group’s signature tracks, a retrospective video chronicling two decades of history, immersive media art, orchestral elements, a major drone show over the Han River, and fireworks.
Big Bang—now consisting of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung—debuted on August 19, 2006. The trio built a global following with hits such as “Lies,” “Haru Haru,” “Last Farewell,” “Fantastic Baby,” “Bang Bang Bang,” “Loser,” and “Still Life” (봄여름가을겨울).
Just two days after the Han River celebration, the group launches its BIGBANG 2026–2027 World Tour <XX : COSMOS> with three nights at Goyang Stadium (August 21–23). Those shows sold out rapidly, with long waiting lists during general sales. The tour then heads to North America, Europe, Oceania, and other Asian cities.
Coupang Play described the free Hangang event as a thank-you to fans who showed overwhelming support during the Goyang ticket sales. Full details are available through the Coupang Play app and official channels.
