MEOVV are back—and they’ve turned up the heat. The five-member girl group (Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella) released their new digital single “BURNING UP” and its music video today (October 14), marking their first comeback in five months since their debut EP “MY EYES OPEN VVIDE.”
After showcasing emotional strength and resilience in “HANDS UP,” MEOVV return with an explosive declaration of self-confidence. “BURNING UP” is a Jersey club-inspired dance track powered by rapid tempos, bold kick drums, and 808 bass lines, capturing the group’s determination to push forward without hesitation.
The music video adds another layer of intensity, mixing everyday settings like a snack shop and appliance store with surreal bursts of fire and rain. From sizzling hot choreography under pouring water to the members’ striking visuals styled in leather, camouflage, and wet-look hair, MEOVV balance raw power with playful irony.
Sooin hinted that the concept reflects the group’s unstoppable energy: “Everywhere we go, flames follow. Even the sprinklers can’t cool us down.” Meanwhile, Ella teased a new side of the group: “We’ve shown our chic side before, but this time we wanted something bolder, fun, and full of color.”
With “BURNING UP,” MEOVV prove they’re not just here to perform—they’re here to set the stage ablaze. Fans can stream the track and watch the fiery music video on all major platforms now.
